About the Authors

Time for Business has be written by a highly experienced and knowledgeable team of teachers and authors:

 

  • Joe Stafford teaches both Junior and Leaving Cert Business in Skerries Community College, Dublin. He has 25 years teaching experience. In addition to Time for Business, he is a co-author of It’s the Business and the author of Get the Points, Business.
  • Siobhan O’Sullivan is currently seconded from Malahide Community School as a teacher educator. She also lectures part-time in DCU, teaching the ‘Teaching and Learning in Business Studies Education’ module on the Professional Master of Education (PME) programme. With over 20 years’ teaching experience, Siobhan has authored many business articles and resources. She is a former Secretary and Chairperson of the BSTAI Dublin branch and a member of the National Executive of the BSTAI since 1999.
  • James Cumiskey is a Business, ICT, LCVP and LCA teacher in Coláiste Chú Chulainn in Dundalk, Co. Louth. He has twenty years of teaching experience and is a corrector for the State Examinations Commission.
  • Ultan Henry has been teaching Junior and Leaving Cert Business in St. Vincent’s Secondary School, Dundalk, Co. Louth for the last 20 years. Ultan is an experienced examiner for the Junior and Senior Cycle State exams. He is a former Chairperson and Honorary National President of the BTSAI. He remains an active member of the BTSAI and is a regular contributor to workshops provided by the Dublin branch.
